  • Sunday mood Louisiana Gem 路易斯安那寶石 There are 3 types of eggs benedict, I chose this one because the bottom is the Crab Cake instead of English Muffin Smoked salmon is my flavour for eggs benedict!! Poached Egg is so healing as usual The ingredients are Crab Cake, Romaine Lettuce, Smoked Salmon, Poached Eggs and Hollandaise Sauce. Crab Meat Linguine Carbonara 蟹肉卡邦尼意粉 The Linguine is so creamy and chewy!!! I really love the cheese on top of the linguine It is mixed with Crab Meat, Onion, Crispy Bacon, Cheese in Cream Sauce. Hot Cranberry Cider It is a little bit sour This is like cranberry juice than orange juice Very little cinnamon can be smelled inside the mouth. The ingredients are Cranberry Juice, Orange, Cinnamon, Cloves, served with Orange Slice.

  • Environment was quite decent with private and comfortable cart seats separated from each other. Service was efficient and attentive with provision of disposable apron, gloves and wet wipes for use. We saw many other eaters ordering their Seafood Boils Platter and some ordered a lot of crabs! Happy to find another place to eat seafood bag on HK Island!

  • Cool restaurant serving amazing seafood. We had the seafood combo, with crawfish, bread crab and baby octopus, paired with butter garlic sauce. The seafood was fresh and the sauce was cooked into the seafood. The combo is a bit pricey but enough for 3 people. The crab chowder soup was super thick and creamy which one of the best we’ve ever had, and the crab cake is pretty nice too. The decor is cool and neat, and the restaurant thoughtfully provided with gloves and aprons to keep us clean. No tap water was provided tho, but the service overall is ok.

  • Honestly I thought it was only takeaway as the storefront on the first floor was pretty small but the restaurant is pretty spacious! For the brunch set, we got the crab meat linguine. The pasta carbonara sauce was very creamy and rich and it was topped with cheese flakes, bacon and of course, crab meat!! when we mixed the cheese, the cheese flakes melted turning the pastes from rich creamy-milky to a thicker-cheesier texture. the crunchy bacon and fresh bits of crab meat made a nice distinction. We tried their special drinks like Sakura tin (which was really pretty hehe ) and Fuchisa Sea. Sakura tin is a green tea based drink that was enhanced by the cherry syrup. Sadly I didn’t have my tapioca pearls because they ran out but I can totally imagine how much yummier it would be!! Fuchsia sea was more fruity and of course more sour in comparison.

  • Set lunch at Mr. Crab comes with daily salad & soup, main dish, and coffee or tea, ranging from HK$98 - HK$168, which is quite a good deal in the area for a proper western lunch! There was quite a lot of salad dressing on the greens, and the corn soup was creamy with a hint of milk, perfect with a thin slice of bread that tastes like focaccia. The Crab Paste & Crab Meat Pumpkin Risotto is definitely my favourite! There was a generous amount of crab meat, the taste of crab stood out while the pumpkin and onion gave a slight taste of sweetness to the risotto. I like the touch of parmesan cheese on top which added another layer of flavours to the rich and creamy risotto. The Grilled N.Z. Sirloin was also satisfactory - loved the grill flavour on the steak mixing with the black pepper gravy, and the grill marks actually made it even more appealing! We ordered medium but the steak was slightly towards the medium rare side, but the texture was still fine for us. The steak also came with fries and slices of grilled eggplant and zucchini. I’ve upgraded the set drink to finest selection mocktail and the Devil’s Chocolate was absolutely devilish! Who can ever say no to iced chocolate topped with whipped cream and chocolate syrup plus bits of Mars chocolate bar? The dessert of the day is Truffle Panna Cotta and it was certainly a wow - I’ve never had truffle in any dessert and it was surprisingly good! The honeycomb toffee on top also gave an extra flavour and it was a perfect end to a worthwhile meal.

  • Have visited Mr Crab 5-6 times ever since we first discovered it some time last year, mainly for their oysters. They offer seasoned oysters with different promotions, we are quite happy with the selections so far. We have revisited again today and tried their acclaimed seafood bag, starting small with their 3 seafood combo. I guess opinions differ on its worth, but all in all it was not bad and it is likely we’d order again on our next visit. Our seafood choices of the day was crayfishes, abalones and baby octopuses, the later two we’d likely reorder. We tried also some of their a la carte dishes throughout the year, such as salmon tartare cucumber rolls last year, 2 of their pasta dishes… I’d say they were fair, but personally I don’t think the a la carte items are of good value of money, so I stick with the oysters. The team has always been quite friendly and helpful, and the seatings have always been comfortable. I’d give it a 3.5, but the option ain’t available, so a 4 stars it is. Recommended? - kinda Revisit? - sure

  • **Lobster Combo - Unique Presentation & Awesome Taste** Mr. Crab is like a utopia for seafood lovers! It seems to have all kinds of popular seafood on the menu (for the Combo). The MAIN attraction is obviously THE COMBO (choice between lobster combo or crab combo or your own customized seafood combo), where the selected seafoods are boiled in a sauce of customer’s choice. We went for the LOBSTER COMBO in a MEDIUM SPICY CAJUN SAUCE. It had lobster meat, shrimp, scallops, potato and corn-cobs..... all of them boiled to perfection in those aromatic spicy sauces. It comes wrapped and sealed in fishnet ....almost like it’s been caught and pulled out of water just now.... OR as another esteemed user aptly pointed out ....it’s like a present you’re about to unwrap. The meat was quite soft and easily coming off the shell. So basically it was Less effort and More meat!! Among the starters, the CAJUN SHRIMP TACOs were a great choice, and came with the sour cream, guacamole and salsa dips. Probably would’ve liked the taco shells to be a little bit crispier but it ain’t no deal breaker. The shrimp and the filling inside (mango, avocado) were good enough to make it a good appetizer Among the other starters were the SKEWERS (Shrimp Skewers and Fajita Vegetable Skewers). Both had a nice look....especially the Fajita Vegetables Skewers since they were hanging in mid-air and super easy to pull down. The cocktails were innovative....and well presented- Rose Lychee Mojito and Jo’s Jade. One of the ingredients of this cocktail Jo’s Jade was ....well....egg-whites!! hence I was quite curious about how Jo’s Jade would taste like and......SHE DIDN’T DISAPPOINT ME AT ALL. I absolutely want her and I don’t care if this concoction is right or wrong.....
